Actions

(24 July, 2000)
Sometimes actions speak louder than words. They can definitely spiff up your building. Adding obvious actions to objects and rooms really adds a lot. Actions are really a type of exit.

The easiest way to create an action is with the @action command. For syntax, type:

help @action

You can also turn an exit into an action by linking it to the null program, dbref #1759 or by locking it to me&!me and setting the fail and ofail as you do with an action.

More interesting actions can be created by linking exits to programs.
