Kitt Peak Color 2

This was taken just off the highway to Kitt Peak National Observatory, South of Tucson Arizona during the Spring of 2001. The rain fall was just right, leading to a bumper crop of wildflowers, including the mexican gold poppies and owl's clover seen here. It is a little hard to spot but, the observatory is visible through one of the trees.
