EMailConfig
Here is some information on using your email account and configuring your mail client.
POP/POPS Server: faye.voxel.net
SMTP Server: faye.voxel.net
IMAP/IMAPS Server: faye.voxel.net
You can also use mail.yourdomain.com (where yourdomain.com is your domain name hosted with us). Using this, however, you will receive security warnings from most mail clients when using SSL to secure your communications with the mail server.
Username is your full email address (i.e., user@somedomain.com).
To set or change your password, call us at 623-934-9010 or, establish email communications with us using GPG encryption. Sending passwords in unencrypted email can compromise the security of your email account.
Most mail clients can be configured to connect using SSL to encrypt both sending and receiving mail. The faye mail cluster supports this and, we recommend that you use it. Doing so makes it more difficult for third parties to read your email.
There is a web-based mail client (Squirrel Mail) you may use here:
For a full-featured local mail client, we recommend the free Thunderbird mail client. Thunderbird is available for Windows, MacOS X, and Linux.
